In today’s eddition of Sunday Times travel supplement, under the title ‘100 summer holidays for 2008′, Island of Hvar is featured among listed 100 of the best trips for summer 2008.

Under the title ” The 53 Places to Go in 2008“, in its travel supplement , New York Times writes about where to go in 2008 and at 11th place (see above image) recommends Hvar as “the St. Tropez of Croatia“

According to the Croatian Central Bureau of Statistics (Državni zavod za statistiku – DZS) , Croatia registered during the first ten months of this year 592 cruising trips by foreign cruising ships, which is 8.2% more than in the same period of 2006.

Contiki Holidays, the worldwide leader in vacations for 18-35 year-olds, is to include Croatia with seven nights Croatian Island Sailing in their new camping tour.
