According to Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ) , tourist year 2007 in Croatia closed with record figures.
The first draft of 2007 figures are following:

Croatia had a total of 10.8 million visits (6% increase compared to 2006), resulting in just over 57 million overnight stays.

In today’s eddition of Sunday Times travel supplement, under the title ‘100 summer holidays for 2008′, Island of Hvar is featured among listed 100 of the best trips for summer 2008.

The new book on sailing and cruising in Croatia is published by John Wiley & Sons. The book, written by Jane Cody an John Nash is titled “Croatia Cruising Companion” and is available for current price of about £17 from Amazon stores.
