Croatia Tourist Figures for year 2008 will head for new records

Good news from The Head Office of the Croatian National Tourist Board (CNTB) :
They estimate that Croatia will close the 2007 tourism season with about 11.2 million guests, 56.2 million overnight stays and tou rism revenues in excess of 6.9 billion euros.

The loan approved for modernisation of Ploce port

According to Croatian media, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has approved a EUR 11.2 million loan for the completion of construction of a new bulk cargo terminal in Ploce - the Croatian Adriatic port.
The loan will enable the port to eliminate existing operational bottlenecks in handling bulk cargo and to increase its capacity [...]
