There are some good news comming from Croatian authorities about boats and ferries in Croatia : The municipalities of Pula, Fazana and Rovinj have last week agreed to jointly finance a new ferry boat line that will connect Pula via Fažana (place accross the Brijuni National Park)  and Rovinj.

 Jat Airways, the Serbian national carrier, is introducing direct flights between the Pula and Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.

After successful cooperation last year, Pula Airport has reached a new agreement with the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair – as of spring this year, cheap flights to Pula from London and Dublin will once again be available. According to the Croatian Central Bureau of Statistics (Državni zavod za statistiku – DZS) , Croatia registered during the first ten months of this year 592 cruising trips by foreign cruising ships, which is 8.2% more than in the same period of 2006.
