Croatia included in Euroail Global Pass

Some good news for railway travellers who would like to visit Croatia:

Germanwings flights to Osijek, Croatia

Germanwings , the low cost airline from Germany, is introducing flights from Cologne (Koln) in Germany to Osijek – the economic and cultural centre of Slavonia.

The loan approved for modernisation of Ploce port

According to Croatian media, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has approved a EUR 11.2 million loan for the completion of construction of a new bulk cargo terminal in Ploce – the Croatian Adriatic port.

Croatia – two new routes – motorway sections opened for traffic

Last week, two new routes / motorway sections opened for traffic in Croatia:
The first one is route Gaženica – hub Zadar 2 that opened for traffic by Croatian Minister Božidar Kalmeta. He opened the new four-line route Gaženica – hub Zadar 2,  positioned at the motorway Zagreb – Šestanovac, 17.5 km long.

New Train Line Zagreb – Sarajevo – Zagreb

As already announced back in February,  the new night train service between Zagreb and Sarajevo has started last night (16.04.07) with it’s first run.
