Croatia at Vienna Tourist Fair
At the tourism fair held in Vienna from 17th to 20st of January, attended by 70 countries and with some 800 stalls, Croatia successfully presented its tourism offer for 2008, the director of the Croatian Tourist Board Ranko Vlatkovic said.
Vlatkovic added that the Croatian stall, covering some 143 square metres, had attracted the attention of journalists, business partners, travel agencies, tour operators and the general public.
The predictions are that Croatia will be, beside Egypt and USA, the most popular destination for 2008 for Austrians.
In 2007, more than 800 thousand visitors from Austria travelled to Croatia. They realised 4.25 million overnight stays.
