Croatian Government dismisses accusations about Suncani Hvar
According to HRT - the Croatian State TV, following the publication (by popular but annonimus C.N.N blogger ) of the secret agreement between the Croatian Privatization Fund and the Orco Group from Luxembourg that became co-owner of the «Suncani Hvar» hotel complex after the public-private partnership model, the Croatian government dismissed all accusations about the allegedly non-transparent and unlawful privatization.
Vice-president of the Government Damir Polancec said that he first had to analyze if the agreement was accurately published, and added that it was likely that the Orco Group would become a majority owner of the «Suncani Hvar».
He also stressed that HANFA /Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency/ approved of the prospectus for the refinancing of the «Suncani Hvar» company, which is an integral of the Agreement.
