Croatian Painter Djuro Pulitika Dies
Djuro Pulitika, well known Croatian painter that lived and worked in Dubrovnik has died at the age of 85.
Đuro Pulitika painted colorful landscapes of his native Dubrovnik as well as Dalmatia . The recurrent and distinctive female nudes, with landscapes in the background are also subject of his numerous paintings.
Visitors of Dubrovnik can still see his work displayed in various galleries in Dubrovnik Old Town.
