Dubrovnik and Korcula - most visited cruiser destinations
According to the Croatian Central Bureau of Statistics (Drzavni Zavod za Statistiku), during the first 11 months of 2006, there were 565 cruise holidays along the coast of Croatian Adriatic.
These cruisers carried a total of 598 thousands passengers which, on average, spent just one day in the country.
The figures show increase of 24% in comparions with 2005.
The same source indicates that the large majority (93 %) of the cruises visited Dubrovnik and Korcula, places that are traditional Adriatic cruisers destination from the beginning of the last century.
