What an amazing photo! We stayed at the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel in May 08, and had this almost exact view from our hotel window. It was beautiful spring time with sunny days and nothing like the threatening image of this twister and I always thought that the Adriatic was reasonably safe from such phenomena.
