The latest figures of foreign cruise ships visits in Croatian Adriatic

According to Central Bureau of Statistics of Croatia, in the first eight months of 2007, 390 foreign cruise ships visited the Croatian Adriatic, up 4.6% from the same period last year.

The number of passengers aboard foreign cruisers increased by 16.2% year on year, reaching 436,200.

They spent 15% more days in Croatia than in the same period of 2006.

Dubrovnik saw the largest number of cruiser arrivals, 346, followed by Korcula, which received 71 vessels.

Zadar recorded 59 cruise trips, Split 55, Pula 43, Hvar 27, Mljet 19 and Ploce 16.
