EasyJet, the UK’s largest airline, today announced that it is opening 14 new routes across Europe, for summer 2009.

Last month, the Croatian government adopted a strategy for the promotion of nautical tourism in Croatia over the next ten years, according to which no more than 15,000 berths would be built during that period, as opposed to 33,000 as initially planned by regional authorities.
The Strategy specifies 15 new top locations including Rovinj, Pula – St. Katharine, Rijeka – Porto Baroš, Novalja -Pag, Pakoštane, Zadar, Šibenik – Mandalina, Dugi Rat, Split – Žnjan, Marina, Vis, Dubrovnik – Gruž, Slano, Orebić and Vela Luka. Read the rest of this entry »

The motorway network in Croatia is becoming longer and longer, so it is now safe to say that this is a country having one of the most developed road infrastructures in Europe.
The construction of the remaining 14.5-kilometer-long sections of the Zagreb-Rijeka Motorway contributed to this. Last October, the construction of the full profile of the motorway connecting the Croatian capital with Rijeka was completed. Read the rest of this entry »
