Primošten, a town located near Šibenik, was last year proclaimed Europe’s most attractive settlement while Biograd na moru, near Zadar, took silver. Now the nominations have been made for the next award – the 2008 Golden Flower of Europe.
The latest Croatian nominee for the award is the well-known Kvarner area tourist destination of Novi Vinodolski, currently the only official nominee for the 2008 Golden Flower of Europe, putting it in the company of twelve of the most attractive places in Europe. Read the rest of this entry »

Darko Fritz’s latest art project entitled Archives in Progress (projects 1987 – 2007) could be seen till 3rd of February in the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rijeka.
The exhibition presents art projects by Darko Fritz dating from 1987 to 2007 and is therefore a retrospective in nature. Particular projects lasted up to five years. Read the rest of this entry »

At Ferie 2008, the largest Danish tourism fair held between 25th and 27th of January in Copenhagen, the Croatian carrier Croatia Airlines announced it will introduce regular flights from Zagreb to Copenhagen in May this year. Read the rest of this entry »
