Dubrovnik Hotel Excelsior under renovation

dubrovnik hotel excelsiorDecember of last year saw the launch of a complete renovation and revamping of the existing facilities and accommodation at Dubrovnik’s Hotel Excelsior, operating within the Adriatic Luxury Hotels group (ALH).

The 14 million euro reconstruction is the second one in a short period. Early last year, namely, an older part of the hotel was renovated, the Villa Odak, with six million euro going into the reconstruction that completely overhauled 62 rooms.

The latest reconstruction of the Hotel Excelsior (http://www.hotel-excelsior.hr/) , closed while the construction is under way, will run through to spring, and, says its management, should be open for guests in late May 2008. Read the rest of this entry »
