Medieval Frescoes found in Zadobarje near Karlovac

Five hundred years old frescoes have been discovered at the church of Sveti Antun Pustinjak in Zadobarje near Karlovac. This valuable artwork is discovered by accident, when the plaster started falling off the walls and revealed the entire interior walls are covered by medieval paintings.

Hotel Patria in Beli Manastir – the main city of Baranja , is the first four star hotel in the region . The hotel was opened in November 2006, while the four star tag was officially obtained couple weeks ago. Hotel Patria has some forty luxury rooms, fully equipped inclusive of Jacuzzi bathrooms. Croatian Government dismisses accusations about Suncani Hvar
According to HRT – the Croatian State TV, following the publication (by popular but annonimus C.N.N blogger ) of the secret agreement between the Croatian Privatization Fund and the Orco Group from Luxembourg that became co-owner of the «Suncani Hvar» hotel complex after the public-private partnership model, the Croatian government dismissed all accusations about the allegedly non-transparent and unlawful privatization.
