Sunny Adriatic by car – travel brochure from 1966

The latest addition to our Photo Gallery of History of Tourism in Croatia  is this image of the cover page of  Sunny Adriatic – by car , a vintage travel broshure printed in 1966.

It shows a bit of so called Jadranska Magistrala, the road that run along the Adriatic Sea , in direction of West with sun shining over the horizon.

The broshure was published by Turisticki Savez Hrvatske (Croatia Tourist Board) and printed in 1966 by Graficki Zavod Hrvatske , from Zagreb.

    Even in 1966 Croatia was a top touristic destination. Great graphic. Like the retro style :)

    Our camp is situated on “Jadranska magistrala” and was the best camp on the Adriatic in 1985. We really like your photos, it would be nice to see city of Stobreč in your gallery. Best regards and thanks for cool and historical photos.
