Zadar’s Garden Festival featured in The Guardian
Under the title “Cool in Croatia” , in last weekend’s travel supplement of The Guardian newspaper, Zadar’s Garden Festival has been briefly featured. This is an excerpt from the article:
The Garden Festival (July 6-8) will be something like a mini-me Exit warm up in the Croatian fishing village of Petrcane, with Mr Scruff , Kelvin Brown and the Unabombers providing the soundtrack.
The festival site is in the woods of the Pinija peninsula with yoga, meditation, massage and other newagey fare laid on during the day. By night you can sip cocktails at the seafront cocktail bar with 360 degree sea views or join the throng at the 60s-style Barbarellas nightclub. The showstealers, however, are the twice-daily Argonaut boat parties , which plough through the Adriatic up to Zadar where they dock at the famous Garden Bar on the city walls.
