Zagreb Airport to get new passenger terminal and runway by 2011

airportAccording to Croatian media, the Croatian government and the city of Zagreb signed a protocol on the construction of a new passenger terminal and a new runway at Zagreb Airport, to be completed by 2011. 

The value of the new terminal and the runway is estimated at EUR 212 million. 

Zagreb Airport has been continually recording an increase in passenger transport.

The millionth passenger this year was registered in July this year and the airport management believes the turnover could reach two million by the end of the year.
