The Croatian Tourism Promotion Film won The Golden City-Gate at Berlin Tourism Fair

The Croatian tourism promotional film "Croatia-The Mediterranean as it once was" has been announced as the best tourism promotion film on the International Tourism Fair in Berlin, Germany. The festival is called THE GOLDEN CITY-GATE (Daas Goldene Stadttor) and it is a part of ITB Berlin that was held from 08-12.03.06.

Film "Croatia-The Mediterranean as it once was" was one among three hundred other tourism promotional films that were considered at the Fair for this prestigious prize.
International jury consisting of 26 jury members from around the world has decided to give this film the first prize in category "countries and regions" .

Film "Croatia-The Mediterranean as it once was" is 15 minutes semi-documentary film, that tells a story about young women waiting for her flight departure at an airport's departure lounge. Film is directed by the Croatian film directory Zrinko Ogresta. The main role is played by a young Croatian actress Barbara Prpić. The producer is Niko Bulic, the director of Croatian Tourist Board.
