Dubrovnik has recently build brand new bus station. It is located in the Gruz area, in the vicinity of the harbour, about 2.5km from Dubrovnik's Old Town. Within bus station there is one of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board Information Offices. Also located at the bus station are some public telephones, corner shop where you can buy phone cards and other small items one needs, left-luggage office, taxi service.

From this main bus station, there is regular local bus service that takes you to the Dubrovnik Old Town or other parts of Dubrovnik.

From the bus station, buses go to following areas of Dubrovnik:

• 1a,3, 6 or 9 to Pile Gate - the entrance to Dubrovnik Old Town
• 1a, 3 or 7b to Gruz harbor - the main Dubrovnik harbour where all Dubrovnik ferries arrive and depart
• 5, 6 or 7b to Lapad and Babin Kuk where most of Dubrovnik hotels are located

All buses that departs and arrives in Dubrovnik stop at this station and use it as their main stop including buses to Dubrovnik Airport.

Please note: International, local or domestic bus tickets cannot be reserved on line. However, you should buy your bus ticket as soon as you arrive in Dubrovnik , particularly in the summer when buses are pretty busy. Station's ticket office is open every day until late in the night.
