Ferries to Dubrovnik

Ferry from Bari to DubrovnikFerry from Italy to Dubrovnik

The only international ferry connection to Dubrovnik is the Bari in Italy (see map of ferries from Italy to Croatia). This ferry sails all year around and is more frequently in summer - have a look at the timetable bellow:

Coastal Ferry to Dubrovnik

This ferry sails from Rijeka via Split, Hvar (Stari Grad), Korcula, Mljet to Dubrovnik.

It takes 19hrs (overnight) to sail from Rijeka to Dubrovnik, 9hrs for Split to Dubrovnik , 7hrs from Hvar to Dubrovnik, 4hrs from Korcula and 3 hrs from Mljet to Dubrovnik. Have a look at the summer and winter timetables bellow:

Ferry from Dubrovnik to Hvar

There are no direct ferries that connect Hvar to Dubrovnik. There is only the coastal ferry (7hrs from Stari Grad, Hvar Island). It is usually quicker to drive or take ferry to Korcula, overnigh there and proceed following day to Hvar, as there is daily ferry from Korcula to Hvar and Split

Ferry from Dubrovnik to Elafiti (Sipan, Lopud, Kolocep)

This is daily ferry boat ( foot passengers only) that sails all year around, connecting Dubrovnik with its nearest islands: Sipan, Lopud and Kolocep. Have a look at the timetable:

Ferry port in Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik's port is in the Gruz district, about 2.5km from Dubrovnik Old Town and about 2.5km from Lapad, where most hotels are located. All ferries arrive there, so one has to take local buses from the port or a taxi to your hotel or place of interest..
