Low Cost Wizz Air flights London Zagreb

11.01. 2006: Wizz Air, the largest low fare - low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, announced at a press conference in Zagreb today that it would start flights from Zagreb to London on 27 March 2006.

The airline becomes the first low fare airline to fly between the UK and Croatia. The launch in Croatia comes after Wizz Air announced its passenger numbers for 2005. The airline carried close to 1.9 million passengers last year, which represents a 233% growth and makes Wizz Air the largest low fare - low cost airline in CEE.

Zagreb-London flights will commence on 27 March 2006, 4 times a week initially. Tickets for the flights are already on sale on the airline's website, wizzair.com. or by calling the Wizz Air call centre on +48 22 351 94 99. Regular one way fares start from as low as EUR 42.99 / GBP 32.46 including taxes and charges.

As an introductory offer a limited number of seats are available at a promotional fare of EUR 32.99 / GBP 26.46 (including taxes and charges) till 31 January 2006.

József Váradi, Chief Executive Officer of Wizz Air said:
