Split Airport (SPU) is located in Kastela/Resnik, a small places, 25 kilometers west of Split and 6 km East from Trogir. It is locally called Zracna luka Split. The airport serves Split , Trogir and wider Dalmatia inclusive of Dalmatian Islands.

Split Airport is the second largest in Croatia in terms of passenger numbers, an important hub for Croatia Airlines offering flights to many European cities - London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Paris.

There is one airport terminal which serves both domestic and international flights. Most of international flights to Split operate from April to October only - during tourist season.

Transport from the Airport:

By bus to Split - Buses meet all scheduled flights for a transfer to Split bus station and leave 90 minutes before flight time for departing flights also from the Dubrovnik bus station. Price one way 35 Kuna. There are also local buses from Split that stop at the airport . Intercity bus line from Split to Trogir ( bus no 37) pass at Split Airport every 20 minutes. By taxi - A taxi from the airport to Split costs about 200 Kuna and takes about 1/2 hour. Email for taxi pre-booking arrangement
