istria agroturizam

[pygargus]

  i will be in central istria the first week of january and i'm looking for typical agroturizam where i can get good food and maybe a nice room to sleep in at affordable price, any suggestions ?
also, what the weather will be like ? snow ?

Hi Pygargus,

normally you dont have to much selection in Januar, i went to Istria for a week last year at Easter many think was still in the winter sleep, but we manage to find nice appartment few km. from center of Porec (with fireplace in the appartment), in the ground floor the owner was running a very nice resturant, which looks like agro museum inside, the food there was excellent so if you are interested you can find more information here.

The weather can be quite tricky this time a year, you can have nice sunny days, but also days with lots of rain.

it sounds good but i think i will be quite distant from the coast, maybe near buzet, so i will keep sarching....
