Around split

Hi!

I'll be staying in Split this September for a couple of days, and I would like to know the best way to go around the city?by bus? Is walking a good way?:p I'm looking to stay in Hostell Nikolla...Is there any beach nearby? Which are the main sightseeing locations?

I know it's a lot of questions:p but I really really want to enjoy the short time I'm staying there!

Main part of thinks which you should see is concentrated around the palace, so walking should be ok, if you want to see whole Split, you can take bus, the metro bus system works very well here.

Nearest beach is Bacvice, which is around 1 km from the old town.

I agree, walking around the palace is the best way. To see other places of Split, like Bacvice, Sustipan, Mestrovic gallery... it will be enough with the bus. Or even walking if you like it!
