Camping in September

We're coming down for a week from the 5th Sept-13th Sept and are thinking of camping - will it be busy at this time, would we need to pre book our campsite? 

If so any recommendations for nice campsites would be much appriciated!

in September booking of camp should not be necessary.

Istria has lots of nice camps, last week i my selve was  on camp Oliva in Rabac, which was very nice.

In Split you have Camp Stobrec
