Split to Rijeka by train

I can't get the information I want from the www.hznet.hr because not all is in English.
I wonder
1. What is the timetable for trains from Split to Rijeka?
2.Do I need to make a seat reservation when I have an Interrail pass? (only on night trains or on no trains?)

hi amiralen, there are no trains between split and rijeka.
take bus or ferry.

Bus is expensive. Can I go to some other town and then take a bus for a shorter route?
