family holiday

I've read a lot of good things about camping in Croatia both on this forum and other web sites.

I'll be driving to Croatia with my wife and two children (6 and 8 year olds) and tent next summer and was I was looking for some pointers and recommendations.

The kind of holiday we're after is mainly beach but we'd like to check out Dubrovnik and other places of interest etc.

You will probably have to stay outside the town itself, as Dubrovnik has no compsites in the town. The nearest one is on Babin Kuk / Lapad (http://www.dubrovnik-travel.net/lapad/)
that site is very large and has lot of facilities...

Would you prefer to stay in smaller campsites and travel to Dubrovnik for sightseing?
