Dubrovnik at Rallye Adriatique 1952

Back in August of 1952 Croatian roads were used as part of Rallye Adriatique route. On this image of advert poster from the time, Dubrovnik Old Town was chosen as main and the only recognizable location in the whole area, with drawing of it's Old Town in the heart of the picture. Back at that time, Dubrovnik was already popular and well known tourist destination so creators fo this advert used it's image to promote their ralley. >>> History of Croatia
