The Island of Pag Hotel Pagus Croatia

Hotel Pagus, located on the central Dalmatian island of Pag, will await its next guests revamped and with new facilities. The hotel’s proprietors hope that the about 3.3 million Euros earmarked for the improvements will move the hotel’s rating up to four stars.

The hotel presently has a total of 117 rooms that are to be completely refurbished along with the reception and bar areas. The entire building is to get air-conditioning. Besides this the hotel’s ground floor will get a new wellness centre in which guests will be offered a complete range of healthcare and therapeutic services with many types of massages, cosmetic treatments and the use of a tanning parlour and sauna.

The hotel’s interior is to be outfitted in the spirit of the past, enabling guests, at least through pictures, to walk through the island’s history and discover what Pag is best known for – it’s maritime salt fields and the production of salt

Besides the building itself the grounds are to be brought into better order with the hotel parking lot and beachfront promenade to be reconstructed.

It should be said that the Hotel Pagus has it’s own beach, making it the perfect choice for a comfortable family vacation, while the rich offer of cuisine featuring the island’s celebrated specialities - Pag cheese and lamb - will certainly contribute to making a stay on the island of Pag and the city of Pag an enjoyable one.
