Wakeboard Croatia Open
The best wakeboarders from Croatia as well as Europe are expected to compete , among them wakeboard world's champion Bernhard Hinterberger, European champion Lior Sofer (last years winner of Croatia Open). The sportsman will compete on 300 meters long line with kickers and slides. If you happend to be in Krk this coming weekend, don't miss this jump spectacle :-) About Wakeboard at Krk Island: Wakeboard is water variation of snow boarding popular on Island of Krk. Wake board club Krk is a non profit sport association founded in 2003 with an aim to promote and develop wake boarding in the Kvarner region. Club is a member of the Croatian Water ski Federation since 2003. Cable Krk is modern cable way located in the heart of Adriatic.It has 400 m2 facility on the very sea shore. |
This comming weekend, on the Saturday at Cable Krk - the wakeboard ski lift in bay of Punat on Island of Krk, the fifth international cable wakeboard competition Croatia Open will be hosted.
