The exhibition ‘Alberto Giacometti – sculpture, drawings, lithographs – Portraits of the Present’ opened in the Zagreb Art Pavilion in September 2016 and closes on Sunday, 8 January. It has so far attracted more than 37 000 visitors from Croatia and abroad.

Having in mind a great interest in the event, the Art Pavilion stated on Wednesday that on 7 January, Saturday, it would prepare “The Night of Alberto Giacometti” to enable more visitors to see the exhibition towards the closing of the event.

The Pavilion’s opening hours are also extended on Friday and on Sunday.

The Zagreb exhibition of the Swiss artist’s works, that have been borrowed from the French Foundation Maeght — twenty drawings and just as many lithographs and sculptures –is a part of the series “The greatest sculptors of the 20th century”, after a brilliant exhibition of Miro, and Rodin in the Art Pavilion.
