Buses to Zadar
Zadar is very well connected by buses from various places in Croatia. It also has its own local bus network:

- Intercity Bus lines from/to Zadar : buses runs from Zadar to Zagreb and Varazdin, Zadar to Zagreb and Osijek, Zadar to Split and Dubrovnik, Zadar to Rijeka and Pula – click for map

Main Bus Station in Zadar: Locally called ‘Autobusni kolodovor Zadar’ is located in the centre of the town (at the crossing of Bregdetti and Ante Starcevic streets) , right next to Zadar’s main train station. It has 5 ticket selling points. All info and ticket sales are served daily between 6am and 10pm. Bus rides from Zadar to Rijeka takes about 4 1/2 hours, to Split about 3 hours, to Dubrovnik up to 6 1/2 hours and to Zagreb 3 to 5 hours, depending of the route. Note – to stop at Plitvice Lakes, one has to take bus that does longer route to Zagreb.
Driving to Zadar:
Zadar is connected by main Croatia motorway that links Zagreb and Split. The travelling time is now up to 3 hrs, since new motorway is opened.
