Ferry from Dubrovnik to Greece

According to Slobodna Dalmacija daily, there is a strong possibility that the Greek shipping company  Minoan Lines will soon establish a new ferry line from Dubrovnik to Greece.

The planned new ferry route will run from Patras and will sail via Igoumenitsa, Corfu and Dubrovnik to Venice.

If this ferry line is introduced, it will be the first ferry link from Dubrovnik to Greece since October 1990.

As Minoan Lines already serves a regular ferry line that runs between Patras, Igoumenitsa, Corfu, and Venice, with a ferry with a capacity of a few hundred vehicles and more than 1000 passengers, and is sailing just 15 miles from Dubrovnik, it is expected that introduction of Dubrovnik as stopover will only extend sailing times slightly.

As Dubrovnik is located in the ideal position on this route and if introduced, the new ferry will offer great additional options for travel around Italy, Adriatic, Croatia, and Greece. Read more about Dubrovnik ferries and other ferries that sail around Croatia.
