kerriGuestI am planning a trip to Croatia in August with my partner. We plan to spend roughly 10 days and the aim is to go from Dubrovnik to Split. I need some help with an itinerary, in 10 days what would be out best plan? What are the best places to see/do the island in particular. Any help would be fab
PeterSpectatorHi Kerri,
This is my idea:
2 days in Split (www.find-croatia.com/split/) – do sighseeing + visit/day tip to Trogir (https://www.find-croatia.com/cities-croatia/trogir/)
2 days on Vis https://www.find-croatia.com/vis/ (remote island, nice beaches)
2 days Hvar Town https://www.find-croatia.com/islands-croatia/hvar/ (cool island, nice beaches)
2 days Korcula Town https://www.find-croatia.com/islands-croatia/korcula.html (great island & town, nice beaches)
3 days in Dubrovnik https://www.find-croatia.com/dubrovnik/ (include visit to Mljet – National Park) https://www.find-croatia.com/islands-croatia/mljet.html
For ferries consult this site:

it has the the most comprehensive list of Croatian ferry ports and ferry timetables available on the web.
ocroatiaGuestWell! Kerri is absolutely right. This is the best plan for your trip of 10 days. The beaches of Croatia vary widely from the rocky to sandy shores. Brela Beach is the most well-known of these and is considered one of the top ten beaches in Europe. The sandy beach stretches for 6 km, interrupted by coves and pine trees. The beach is all but invisible from the road and has several hotels for guests who want to visit for more than just a day. All the very best for your journey. Have a happy and safe journey.
ocroatiaGuestSplit is Croatia’s second largest city and is metropolitan hub for the eastern european country of Croatia. It is located on the coast of the Mediterranean, and specifically on the eastern shore of the Adriatic Sea. Split is the home of Diocletian’s Palace which has been designated as UNESCO World Heritage Site. In addition, the city offers a plethora of museum’s and Roman ruins in a setting that is perched next to the sea. Learn about some simple preparations you can take before visiting the town of Split, in the country of Croatia.
