  i arrive at dubrovnik airport on the 5th of july at 20:30.
  is there a bus to the centre/port after this time?
  if so, at what times?

  my hotel wants me to give a time i will arrive.

  No timetable for buses from airport. They run about 30 min after the flight arrival. If your flight is by Croatia airlines.ticket is 30 kuna,Taxi is about 200 kuna.

  yes, they take other people, you will be ok with your timing. bus journey takes about 20 minutes. in which hotel you have to go?

  Ask driver to stop at the nearest point to your hotel on his way to bus station.

  Yes, it stops at the entrance to Dubrovnik Old Town

  but you have to ask driver as main stop is in Gruz harbour :
