  I wonder if anyone can help me out with the bus issue in Istria. I will be arriving from Zagreb and want to pick cities/villages to visit in Istria based on whether I can get there easily by bus. And, also, I’d like to spend 5 or 6 days in Istria and then find transport (bus, ferry) to Zadar. Any ideas?

  We stay near Opatija to avail of the Rijeka/Opatija bus service, it is easy to visit most towns in Istria from here.
