The project of the first Croatian museum of viticulture and wine, to be located in Putnikovici on the southern Adriatic peninsula of Peljesac, was presented in Dubrovnik earlier in the week.
The Dubrovnik-Neretva County commissioner for the sea, tourism and enterprise, Maro Krstic, said this was an important project for the county and its long history of viticulture and wine making.
So far HRK 2.6 million has been invested in the museum, said Zelimir Bosnic, who came up with the idea of the project.
The museum is expected to be opened by the end of the year.
