  Hello,

  I am wondering if anyone has advice on travel between Dubrovnik and Hvar in October. I am hoping there is a ferry, but I am not counting on it because it is the off season for tourists. Does anyone know if there is a ferry during that time of the year? If not any other suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  The easiest way is to go by bus from Dubrovnik to Split and take fast catamaran ferry to Hvar.
  There are daily departures to Hvar from Split.
  This way, you can also visit Split, do some sightseeing and go to Hvar.
  If you wait for Jadrolinija’s ferry that goes from Dubrovnik to Hvar, you might waste your time waiting as it goes only twice a week.

  Thanks for the advice! Two more question if you don’t mind. Any idea how long the bus ride is between Dubrovnik and Split? Also, do you know how long the ferry ride is between Split and Hvar? Thanks!

  In October the ferry from Dubrovnik to Hvar leaves monday and friday at 09:00.

  Bus from Dubrovnik to Split takes from 4.5 hours

  Carferry from Split to Starigrad Hvar takes about 2.5 hours

  Catamaran from Split to Hvar city takes one hour
