3 Adults looking for best route to HVAR:

Depart Dubrvonik on Tuesday Sept 1, 2009 for HVAR
Return from Hvar to Dubrovnik on Saturday Sept 5th

We have option for a private transfer to Drevnik (a/c car for 30 Euros per person) = 180 Euros roundtrip total + and then take fast catamaran to Sucraj/HVAR  (Is this expensive?)

Is Ferry from Dubrovnik to Korcula and then to Hvar another option? Would prefer sunny ferry to private car for 2 hours. If so do are dates accomodate this ferry route and what wold be the cost and time to get there.  We will be in HVAR for 4 nights.

One way ticket cost you 17.50 Euro a person.

    Thank you for your response.
Where do we book this and what is the name of the ferry line? Is it safe to book upon arrival or do these ferry’s get sold out?

It’s a long trip but with beautiful weather this could be a great way to relax and enjoy the sun on boat with tours of other islands. It’s also easier with only one mode of transport.

This is the coastal line of Jadrolinija, which are one of the only lines they have which you can actually book, but in September it should not be necessary, so just show up 1 hour before departure or buy your ticket day before.

Trip is really great especially on sunny days, bring your own drinks and maybe a sandwish as it is relativ expencive to buy on the ferry

    Excellent

Also we are considering a trip to Montenegro and also possibly a wine tour around Dubrovnik. For Montenegro is it best and easiest to take public bus there and then spend day in the town or book thru a private tour operator?

Any suggestions for wine tour? We don’t want to do a full day, but a couple of hours in the early afternoon would be nice to experience.

    Thanks You
