  My husband and I are trying to book a Croatian holiday. 

  We are deciding if we should keep a rental car with us when we go on the islands.  I fear I am a bit confused. 

  Ideally, we would like to do the following (see below). 
  Would you tell me the time at which we can get a ferry, if one is available, on the following dates?
  What is the cost of each Ferry trip?

  Split to Bol (Brac) on the morning of May 18th – two passengers with a small car How long is this trip?

  Bol (Brac) to Hvar in the afternoon on May, 20th – two passengers with a small car How long is this trip?

  Hvar to Dubrovnik in the afternoon of May 21st – two passengers with a small car.
  How long is this trip?

  What is the cost of each Ferry trip?

  Take ferry from Split to Supetar at Brac and drive to Bol – departures and info at this post:

  Ferry takes about 40 minutes/ price for 2 passengers and small car 160 Kuna.

  There are no car ferries from Brac to Hvar.
  Instead, leave your car on Brac and take foot passenger ferry :

  or go back to Split, drive to Drvenik and take car ferry to Sucuraj – Hvar Price for this one for 2 people and small car is 92 Kuna. Duration of the journey about 30 min

  No ferry is sailing from Hvar to Dubrovnik on 21.05.
  The earliest ferry is:
  STARI GRAD (HVAR) depart 24.05.2008 08:15 arrives in Dubrovnik at 14:30

  If you need to be in Dubrovnik earlier, you have to drive – take ferry back to Drvenik (see above) and drive along the coast (about 3 hrs drive)

  Take bus from Split airport to Split harbour.

  From the harour take ferry to Brac, there are various possibilities, ferries goes very often. Cost is about 30 Kuna per person.
