    Hello,

I am searching for the best way to get from Croatia to Italy. On the 6th September 2008, I will be leaving from island Krk, Croatia, to Vieste, Italy (Gargano). But I do not know yet how:)

I thought of taking a ferry from Zadar to Ancona, but Ancona is still a bit far from my final destination (200km).

My starting points could be Zadar, Rijeka, Pula or anything that is close to Krk.

Does anyone have some experience with such journey? I will be glad for any hints for making the journey faster&cheaper

I am adding a map with highlited locations of start and final destination.

Take ferry from Rijeka to Dubrovnik and Bari in Italy and from there take bus to Gargano.
Price for ferry is 417 kuna for deck passenger, this is long journey but you can see all coast, take with you sleeping bag and sleep on deck on the left side of the ferry to view the coast. You will also have plenty of time for good book
Ferry schedule from Rijeka to Bari is this one https://www.find-croatia.com/ferries-croatia/

Please provide Ferry schedule for Dubrovnik to Bari route in the September 20-21, 2009 timeframe.

What is the cost for 2 people, no automobile.

If it is an overnight crossing are there sleeping accommodations?

Can I procure the tickets via the internet?
