I would love some help and suggestions on the following:
Late Oct.2008….I need to get from Croatia to Italy…then to Rome
What is the best Port to leave from….what is the best Italian Port to arrive in
How long is the ferry trip.
Would be grateful of all info…..Thanks

It really depend where about in Croatia you will be at the time of your departure.
You can take Dubrovnik to Bari ferry, or Split to Ancona one.
As Rome is in south of Italy, these two ferries are better option then ferries that sail to north Italy ( like Venice)
Ferries usually sail overnight, like leaving late night from Croatia and arriving early morning in Italy.
Once there, take bus to Rome.
It will be another 4 hours by bus.
