  Me and my friend arrive at Split airport sat 28 june about 18.00. We need to get to Hvar and as I can tell the only way is to take the ferry to Stari grad at 20.30. Is there any other options to this ferry? The ideal route would be by catamaran to Hvar Grad. But it seems like the last one leaves at 18.00.. Anyone?

  Do we have to book tickets in advanse?

  No booking in advance on local ferry lines. Once in Stari Grad, take bus to Hvar town.
