KerrieGuestWe would like to get to Zadar from Venice. It seems the easiest way is to go to Ancona by train and then get an overnight ferry to Zadar. Is that right?
Then a week later we want to catch a ferry from Zadar to Dubrovnik. But I can’t find ferry prices and timetables.
Then about a week after that, we must return to Rome from Dubrovnik. We are thinking it might be best to travel back up to Split and then catch a ferry to Ancona and then a train to Rome. Is there an easier way?
One e more question. The ferries only seem to take 4 hours from Split to Ancona but are overnight from Zadar to Ancona is that right?

See Venice to Split option here: https://ferryspots.com/venice-split-ferry/
There are no ferries from Zadar to Dubrovnik you need to take either bus or go to Split by bus and then take the ferry to Dubrovnik.
From Dubrovnik take a ferry to Bari ( Italy) you don’t need to go back to Split. Also check if Venice to Dubrovnik would work out well for you https://ferryspots.com/venice-dubrovnik-ferry/ -
