Some five hundred bicycle riders from Germany arrived in Korcula. As part of their ten-day cruise, the Germans will tour on bikes the islands in the Mediterranean Sea, so as to see what they are offering and to possibly return there for summer vacation. Korcula is the first destination on their journey. To warm up and test their bikes, the Germans rode ten kilometres away, to Racisce. They crowded the place, which has just as many residents. The Bavarian Television is taking footage of the journey, so that a story about Korcula seen through the eyes of bicycle riders will be seen by some 500,000 TV viewers.
