  Me and partner are flying into Trieste, we need to get Rijeka in order to hire a car in Croatia to drive to Zagreb and the lakes.
  Are there buses from Trieste to Rijeka, if not could you offer a good alternative?

  Hi all!

  I just wanted to add, Rijeka is my favorite city in South-Europe. I was there 3-4 years ago, on the summer. I especially  liked swimming in the center of the city in the rocky small beach.
