History of the Croatian Language Volume One
The first volume of the History of the Croatian Language from the Middle Ages until the 19th Century has been launched at Matica Hrvatska (Matrix Croatica) by the Croatica society for the promotion of Croatian culture and science.
In the first volume some eight top Croatian linguists write about the development of the Croatian language in the middle ages headed by an article by Josip Bratulic on Croatian language, Croatian scripts and Croatian literature as the bases of Croatian identity.
