  Wondering whether 3 nights is too much or not enough on Mljet island.
  We have a 10 day island hoppingt rip, beginning in Split and ending in Dubrovnik

  As you have 10 days only to explore the area, 3 days at Mljet would be too long, unless you are looking for walking/hiking oportunities as opposed to culture, sights and architecture of Dubrovnik, Split, Hvar and  Korcula…
