  Please, is it possible to reach Groznjan by any public transport?

  As far as I know, there are not buses or any other public transport to Groznjan.

  Although, if you take bus from Buzet to Buje ( or Buje-Buzet ), driver will stop for you at the point nearest to
  Groznjan , which is about 3 km from the town, so you can walk there from that point.

  Also, you can take bicycle in the bus ( they transport bikes fro free) and then cycle to Groznjan.

  At Trieste Coach Station, there are bus and coach connections to Koper, Buje and further, so you can take one of these buses to come to Buje.

  This might me better option as far as flights are concerned?

  Yes, bus from Venice to Buje is run by Brioni d.d bus company – it runs from Venice, via Trieste to Buje and then to Rovinj and Pula.
  You can go back that way too.
